Bread purpously for the studio, the Mesa Formula Pre stands well above the crowd when it comes to recorded tone. With dedicated outputs and modes for different gain stages and situations, it generates stunningly fluid sound and never gets harsh. Daniel has paired this with the awesome Lexicon MPX550 effects engine and although occasionally used live, this setup is used more for recording than anything else.
